Calaway Park, Calgary

Located just west of Calgary on 160 acres of farmland, this place is a perfect place for families with younger lot. It is largest outdoor amusement park in Western Canada with 32 rides, mini-golf, 3-D Cinema and regular stage shows. Timber Falls, a four minute long log ride is one of the attractions in the park. It is a perfect place to spend a day with families and friends along with facility of campground.

Calypso Theme Waterpark, Ottawa

This 100 acre park which started from 2010 is the largest waterpark in Canada and is about an hour from Montreal and just 20 minutes from Canada’s capital. It has more than a dozen attractions, including Canada’s largest wave pool, high-speed water slides and a white water rafting experience. Right from having kid zone for toddlers to VIP cabanas and a Hawaiian beach bar for adults, this is an ideal place for rejuvenation for all ages.

Magic Mountain Water Park, Moncton

This water park is an ideal destination for families to have fun and is located just outside the city of Moncton. Kamikaze, one of the body slides where riders shoot down at speeds reaching 60 km/h, while in other slide – ProRacer there are two slides where friends or family members get a chance to race as they plunge down at the same time.  Families with young children can relax in lazy river or try out the splash pad. This park also has an arcade and mini golf area to enjoy.

Playland, Vancouver

This 9 acre amusement park is the oldest one in Canada and is usually filled to capacity during their annual fair that starts from last week of August till first week of September. Wooden Roller Coaster built in 1958 is one of the major attractions in the park. Corkscrew Coaster and The Beast are also most preferred rides over here. It has a haunted house and an arcade.

Upper Clements Amusement Park, Annapolis Royal

This amusement park boosts of 30 rides and attractions and is just two hours from Halifax. Spread over 75 acres, this park was opened in 1989 as a family oriented park. Visitors can explore Atlantic Canada’s only log ride, water based roller coaster. Tree Topper Adventure Park which consists of climbing across obstacles like a cargo net, monkey bridge and 14 zip lines is a treat to adventure lovers.
